"We have been with Angels for five years for the care of my parents commenting with daily lunch time in home visits for meal preparation and personal interaction. This progressed to regular visits during their transition to a retirement facility. It became an essential part of my mother’s program development in a dementia ward of the retirement home. Our Angel maintain regular visits for a continuity of care and contact for my parents. Over the years our Angel has monitored and maintained standards of care in the facility working with staff and homecare assistants assigned to my parents special needs. "My mother lives in a very good Long Term Care residence several hours away from me, and other family members are not available on a consistent basis. We have used Senior HomeCare by Angels for over 2 years to have someone ensure that my mother is properly taken care of, that all her needs are met, encourage her to participate in activities and be a companion when family can’t be there. Any issues are brought to my attention giving me peace of mind. The first PSW provided excellent service but sadly (for us) was hired away. Her replacement was not a good fit for my mother and was replaced immediately. I couldn’t be happier with the current PSW who genuinely cares about my mother’s well-being. The administrative staff treat you as if you were their only client, respond to any issues very quickly and are understanding of any situation that may disrupt their operations. I’m very happy with them. My mother can be cranky and difficult at times. The highest compliment that I can give Senior HomeCare by Angels is that my mother actually LIKES her PSW and TRUSTS her. "I am the sole caregiver for my parents who are in their late 80s both living at home in very poor health. A few weeks ago I found myself in an emergency situation with my dad being discharged from the hospital at 5 in the morning with a catheter attached. Because of being short staffed the hospital was not immediately able to send a nurse out to take care of him.
