Marcia Renner - Owner

I started Senior Home Care by Angels in 2007, after over two decades of marketing and public relations experience. It was at a time when my own parents were starting to require support in order to be able to stay in their own home. At that time, there were very few options available, and so this business started out of my own need for caring, trusted, and reliable in-home senior care.   

Senior Home Care by Angels has grown over the years, and I am so proud to have been able to help so many other families in need. I understand what people are going through, what they are looking for, and what they need. I care deeply about the quality of care that we deliver to our clients. 

I am so privledged to have gotten to know so many clients and families in our community. I grew up in Cambridge myself and continue to call it my home. I am deeply committed to my community, and I sincerely love helping others.

Moreau Teixeira – Care Cordinator

I have over 27 years in the health care field working as a PSW myself. I have extensive work experience in a variety of long-term care and retirement facilities, and also privately for families in need. I enjoy helping connect our amazing caregivers with seniors and families who are in need of assistance. 

I live in Cambridge, and enjoy serving my community. I also love to travel and to discover different parts of the world. I love reading, history, and learning new things through watching documentaries. I enjoy the outdoors with hiking and gardening, and cooking food for my family and friends. 

Lynette Johnson – Finance and Payroll

I have been with Senior Home Care by Angels since 2012. I started out with client care coordination, and really enjoyed being able to connect with our caregivers and the seniors and families we serve. I then moved into finance and payroll, finding a natural fit there with my previous 34 years of experience in business and office work at a large insurance company.

I live in Kitchener, and I have too many pets, but of course I love their companionship. I enjoy spending time with my kids and grandkids. I enjoy reading, walks, crocheting, and watching the Leafs and Blue Jays play.

The best part of my job with Senior Home by Angels is when clients let me know how much they appreciate the care we have set up for them.

Mary Quinlan – Community Liason

I am a Registered Nurse, and graduated with my Bachelors of Nursing Science from Queen's University in 2002. I have had a rewarding career in nursing since graduating, and have over two decades of experience in both the hospital and ambulatory clinic settings. 

I have a strong focus on person first care. I see people as unique individuals, deserving of care and respect, at all points in their life span. I am passionate about providing respectful and compassionate care. 

I grew up in Cambridge, and now live in Guelph. I love my community and want to be a part of serving our people in need. I see the need for care and consistency in senior home care, and that’s why I am so pleased to be a part of Senior Home Care by Angels. 

I saw the benefits of our service myself when my grandparents needed extra care. I loved how they formed a trusting and caring relationship with their caregiver over the years. I saw how it brought them, and our family immense relief at a time that they really needed the care. Their caregiver became a trusted friend, who helped both my grandma and grandpa for many years. 

I am so happy to be part of an organization that cares, takes the process seriously, and understands what it is that families and seniors need.
