I am passionate about the need for kind, compassionate, and friendly service that allows seniors to remain in their own homes on their own terms. This passion led to me opening “Senior Homecare by Angels,” aka “the Angels”, in August 2017. I have worked diligently since then to ensure the seniors of the Annapolis Valley receive high-quality and skilled care within the place they call home!

When I'm not working, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my husband, Calvin, and our two shepherds, Duke and Jaz. We also look forward to the times we can gather with family for a good meal and/or a game of cards! I am also fortunate to have five children and four grandchildren.

I am originally from NS but have had the opportunity to live, work, and play around the world. When I returned to NS, I wanted to work in a company with great values. When I met Sheryl and her team, I knew I had found that.

I love being a support for our ANGELS! Having lost my own parents, I know firsthand how difficult this is for families. The care our ANGELS provide is life-changing.

In my free time, I love having cuddles with my kitten Maxi, spending time with family and friends, and I am attempting my first latch hook project!

 

I was born and raised in Ontario, and in 2022 my husband and I decided to move our family to Nova Scotia. My background has lent itself to helping people, and I have worked in Homecare and Retirement homes off and on for the last 25yrs. 

I love my job because I get to work with wonderful coworkers and also have a relationship with our clients and their families. 

I have three kids who love sports, so most of my free time is spent in the bleachers of an arena or baseball diamond!

I was born in Vancouver and moved to NS in the fall of 2020 - when I was looking for a job in home care, I came across Senior Homecare by Angels, and the name did it for me - who WOULDN'T want to be an Angel? Then when I met the team - I knew I had found my perfect place - their core values are in alignment with mine.

My favourite part of my Jon is bringing comfort to the elderly - (can't say seniors anymore because WOW...I'm nearly there...) in whatever form they need.

All my kids have paws, so my happiest free time is playing with them...family comes next (sorry, you guys)! I also love cooking, baking, trying new recipes, and gardening.
