What Our Caregivers Do
Those who apply for and accept one of our private home care jobs will be responsible for providing essential personal care for seniors throughout the Annapolis Valley region of Nova Scotia. This helps our clients get the support they need to age safely and comfortably in place and maintain their independence.
Some of your job responsibilities will include:
Our caregivers also provide memory care for seniors with dementia and Alzheimer’s, end of life care for seniors approaching the end of their lives, fall prevention solutions, and so much more.
In addition to assisting our clients, our caregivers also make sure to monitor the seniors they work with. This helps us make sure our clients are safe and content at all times. We notify families if their loved one’s well-being or care needs have changed and work with them to make any adjustments to care plans. Establishing an open line of communication is important in order to build strong and long-lasting relationships with clients and families, which helps us retain clients for much longer.
