Certified Holistic Care
Personal Home Care by Senior Homecare by Angels
Although the terms holistic and hospice are often used interchangeably, they are in fact different. Hospice is typically defined as care of the terminal or dying person, usually with a life expectancy of six months or less. Whereas, holistic care is supportive care for clients with a wide range of needs, regardless of life expectancy.
At Senior Homecare by Angels, we view holistic care as a philosophy of care. This is not a ‘program’ we admit our clients to, but is in fact how we care for all our clients. The Senior Homecare by Angels Holistic Care Certification Program was developed to train our caregivers to provide care that is supportive, soothing, comforting, and attends to the physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs of our clients.
Through our continuum of personal home care services, we are able to provide quality, competent, and supportive care that enriches the lives of those we serve. Senior Homecare by Angels has adopted a palliative care philosophy that integrates best practices to effectively support our clients and their families.
Holistic care can benefit anyone with a chronic health condition, regardless of life expectancy.
